Another Monday rolls around. I'm late getting my menu listed. I actually just finished making it. It's not my most favourite job. I love grocery shopping, but not the menu planning. I need to find a way so I don't have to re-invent the wheel every 2 weeks :)
Monday:
hamburgers and chips
leftover maple glazed ribs and fresh corn
Tuesday:
grocery day so Daddy has his PB&H and we eat out
pork souvlaki -trying new marinade the grocery store had on sale last time, likely roast potatoes and a salad
Wednesday:
meat perishky -still trying to find time to try this recipe from Mennonite Girls Can Cook
some sort of dish with the beef that will likely be leftover from lunch
Thursday:
lunch meat sandwich
souvlaki pitas
Friday:
pierogies and mac and cheese
chicken cacciatore and roast potatoes
Saturday:
spaghetti
steak
Sunday:
French toast
leftover chicken cacciatore

Lately I have the same ingredients on hand - ode to living on one income!
I'm going to give that Chicken Caccitore a try...looks delicious
have a wonderful Tuesday! :)
PS I enjoyed the book, thanks very much for sending it to me. Amazing how similar they're lives are to mine in so many ways....when we visited Lancaster I found the Amish very friendly and "real", flaws and all. It would be an experience living in a community like that!
Glad you enjoyed the book Niki! Try the cacciatore, it's my grandma's recipe and has always been one of my favourites (with roast potatoes of course). I would love to go to Lancaster.
