We had a nice trip down to Pickering to visit with Auntie Belinda and Uncle Stefan. We didn’t really ‘do’ much of anything, but that can be fun sometimes. Ella, Stefan, and I did Laser Quest on Saturday. That’s always so much fun. I got 6th out of 23 on the first game. Ella did a second game (with a big group of 14-year-old boys). We were watching the scoreboard and at first she was getting slaughtered. Then something happened and she started kicking butt and taking names! She ended up 3rd out of a group of 33!! She’s so happy when she can beat the boys
Pumpkin carving today. Ella would like to go into Pembroke this year for her trick or treating. It’s supposed to be miserable so that’s likely what we will do. We can hit more houses quicker. Not sure what she’s wearing because a coat isn’t fitting over her Erza costume

She’s been invited to join her HS friends and is so excited.
So here’s what’s on the menu this week. I’m just giving you suppers because it’s ‘corn season’ so who knows where I’ll be for lunches.
Tuesday:
roasted chicken quarters and probably roasted potatoes too (since the oven is already on)
Wednesday:
spaghetti -fast and quick
Thursday:
Friday:
beef chow mein -new recipe
Saturday:
Sunday:
panzerotti
What’s cooking at I’m an Organizing Junkie?
