Sad Day

Yesterday morning we had a great time.  Ella and I played with her Calico Critters and Zim played with us.  Giving lots of kisses and being her usual fun self.

After supper I realized I hadn't seen Zim for a while.  I went upstairs to check Ella's bed -Zim's favourite hang out.  Checked the 'sewing' room because Colin had been in there earlier.  Colin wondered if someone had let her outside??

I looked under the chesterfield (her second favourite spot) and found my sweet Zim curled up dead.  I have no idea what happened.  Luckily Colin was home to take care of her for me.  I think I'm done with pets in the house for a while.
