Joining the ladies at Like Mother, Like Daughter.
Our busy baking girl. Ella spent most of yesterday baking an assortment of cakes and goodies.
For the first time in 46+ years Poff Road is actually getting a load of gravel. Maybe it was the fact that everyone who lives/uses this road has phoned to complain this year. Or maybe they saw this post and felt guilty :) Unfortunately they aren't actually fixing the problems with the road, they are just covering them up -until the next rain. The road has soft spots where the clay is coming up through. What it really needs is dug up and properly back-filled. Oh well, at least the gravel is something!
Another sunscreen casualty from our holidays. Luckily it's easily replaced. By the way, if any of you have a business and need cards, etc check out www.vistaprint.ca. They offer all sorts of things for free, just pay the shipping. I never pay full price for our business cards/truck magnets/t-shirts, etc. I've gotten the grandparents some great presents over the years from here too. You just have to be strong and only order the free stuff.
And here's a late entry to the Pretty, Happy, Funny, Real post.
Here's how to make my Farmer a very very happy fellow -chocolate chip cookies. This recipe makes 11 dozen, that may get him through till I'm home next week, maybe.
