For the first time in 46+ years Poff Road is actually getting a load of gravel.  Maybe it was the fact that everyone who lives/uses this road has phoned to complain this year.  Or maybe they saw this post and felt guilty  :)  Unfortunately they aren't actually fixing the problems with the road, they are just covering them up -until the next rain.   The road has soft spots where the clay is coming up through.  What it really needs is dug up and properly back-filled.  Oh well, at least the gravel is something!

Real

Another sunscreen casualty from our holidays.  Luckily it's easily replaced.  By the way, if any of you have a business and need cards, etc check out www.vistaprint.ca.  They offer all sorts of things for free, just pay the shipping.  I never pay full price for our business cards/truck magnets/t-shirts, etc.  I've gotten the grandparents some great presents over the years from here too.  You just have to be strong and only order the free stuff.
