Yarn Along -4 March 2015

A couple finished projects for Yarn Along this week.

Finished the Baby Surprise jacket just in time.  Baby Emmett was born on Sunday.

Finished Ella's socks too.  They aren't quite long enough but Ella loves them.  Must remember it takes over 100g for Ella sized knee-socks these days.

It was nice to do some reading when we were away.  So I dug out a book from my shelves.  I started this one years ago but never finished. Sisters In The Wilderness: The Lives Of Susanna Moodie And Catherine Parr Traill tells you a lot about what was going on behind Roughing it in the Bush: Or, Life in Canada and Backwoods Of Canada Penguin Black Classics Edition.  I'm really enjoying it.  It's also fun because we drive through Lakefield (where the sisters settled) on the way to Scarborough.
