Well, the drought is definitely over -for now. Wednesday we had rain, rain and more rain. We got about 3.5 inches of rain. Too much too fast.
The darn groundhog has the culvert under the driveway nearly completely plugged. There is a steam of water the size of a garden hose getting through. Obviously not enough. A little later in the evening 'Lake Snugglebug" flooded the road.
This is the corn field. Luckily the corn hasn't come up yet because corn doesn't swim well.
Ella's new kitty looks so real. The first time I saw it in the window I nearly yelled at Kitty Cat to get out of the window. It looks so real from behind. Sorry for the bad picture, it was one of our last sunny days.
