We're Baa-aack!

Hurray!!  It seems my internet is back -for now anyway.   First they tried blaming our modem and changed it.  That didn't fix it so they changed it back.  I don't know what he did to fix it, but we've got internet again.

Friday, Karen got me some fancy blue/green eggs (plus a couple others) and we tucked them into the incubator.  You will note that was June 1st and it usually takes 21 days for an egg to hatch.
This is what we found in the incubator last night when I went to turn the eggs and put in the Harco ones from yesterday.

This is Peep.  Peep appears to by a banty chick.  Boy those must have been miracle eggs Karen!  I just hope another one or two hatch early because Peep is lonely and hard to heat.

Daddy took an early lunch break and blew some bubbles with Miss Ella.  I've made her some homemade 'bubble soap' because the stuff from the store never seems to work.  Here's the recipe:

2 parts dish soap (I used cheap stuff)
6 parts water
3/4 part corn syrup

I used cups to make it easy to measure.  It makes great bubbles.  Daddy wants to try a recipe with glycerin next.

Ella sure loves when Daddy has time to play.
