Home Again

We brought Colin home yesterday.  Ella was so happy when I called from the hospital to tell her.  Colin still has a gaping hole in his side.  We had to head into Pembroke to the wound clinic to have the dressing changed.  It looked really good (the quick peak I took).  No bad seepage or anything.  The nurse say it doesn’t need changed tomorrow.  I have to take Colin back on Monday to see the surgeon and hopefully will have his incision closed on Tuesday.

I am so glad he’s home.

I'm sure it's good to be a family again! Now you just have to keep his activity low!! Good luck with that one!

It is soooo good to have Colin home. Even though he's sleeping on the chesterfield right now, I'm still getting a much better night's sleep. I don't know how to keep him quiet. He's already talking about getting out on the tractor to help his Dad. I wish his mother wouldn't guilt him into (potentially) hurting himself.
