I decided to get Ella's hair cut yesterday. It is so fine. Belinda's hair was the same way until Mom cut it short, now it's nice and thick. I hope Ella's will do the same. I can't believe how much thicker it looks just being cut. Ella loves her new hair, now she can comb it herself and not get tangled.

She looks so much older with shorter hair! It's so hot here, it's 93 and only 11:30am - they say that it's going to be the hottest day ever in Seattle, it's never been over 100, just exactly. But today they say it will go over and I believe it! I also hear that when are unusually hot it means that you are unusally cool and rainy. I am not a heat person at all, I'd take a string of cool and rainy days just fine right now!
We were hot and humid yesterday -much more like a normal July. We sometimes get up to 100, with the humidity. Those days are so hard on my lungs. I really hate the days that don't cool off any overnight. Even with all the windows open we still wake up sweaty -not a fun way to start the day. But we really need the sunshine to bring on the corn, so I guess I'd better ask you to send along that hot weather and I'll give back my nice cool summer ;)
