Menu Plan Monday -23 October 2017

Colin is finishing up the soy beans today, just in time since they are calling for rain off and on for the rest of the week.  They are turning out OK.  Nothing fabulous, but certainly better than they could have been after the year we had.  Now to wait for the corn to dry enough.
Feels like a busy week, but not really.  I got all the paperwork filled out for Guide camp in November.  Are you ready for this?  It actually got approved the FIRST time I sent it in!!  We’re having to go to a new place because we were too slow picking a date and our usual place is booked/closed.  The bedroom situation is better at this place (more rooms with smaller numbers) so hopefully we can actually get some sleep.  We’ve also got an actual kitchen which gives us more options for food.
Ella’s excited to have Grandma come to archery this week.  Guides are having a Halloween party.  Speaking of Halloween and archery, did I tell you Ella’s friend from archery invited her to a Halloween party on Saturday?  Ella had so much fun and made 2 more friends.
She’s a ‘school girl vampire’ like in the Monster High books.  She found her costume pieces at Value Village so this is the cheapest costume we’ve ever had since her early fairy costumes.
