Farm Girl Friday -31 August 2012

Starting to get back in the swing of things.  Here's some Farm Girl fun to share this week.

Fairy Ella going for a fly in the fairy forest beside our house.  The beautiful silk wings come from Ziezo.  This mom does beautiful work with silks and dyes, much like my favourite silk maker Beneath the Rowan Tree.  These are the best wings.  They actually fit and stay up.  Ella's previous wings always seem to droop and hang funny.  

It's very hot but breezy today.  Ella's wings looked really cool flapping in the breeze.

Did you notice the material Grandma used for Ella's new dress?  It's covered in flower fairies by Cicely Mary Barker.  Grandma even made a matching purse which Ella says will be perfect to carry her fairy dust.
