Pretty, Happy, Funny, Real

Joining the ladies for another Pretty, Happy, Funny, Real.

These play silks are turning out to be the best money I've ever spent on a toy.

Here Ella's dying her own play silks.

Even Grandma is getting in on the act and wearing her 'party dress' while washing dishes.

I don't have pictures of real.  Real is my blue dress ending up in the scrap bag.  I tried to remake the bodice part and that didn't improve the dress any.  Luckily I only paid $2.50/m so it's not that big a loss.  Guess I'll have to try again.

I liked all the dresses. The blue one included- but you know if your comfortable in it or not. Maybe in a different fabric, you'd still like the style.

Thanks Kimberly. I don't know what's wrong with the pattern. There's something wrong with the fit and it's made with different pieces than usual and I just don't want to bother with it again. I have some other new ones that I'll try. I also think I'll whip up a couple more like the burgundy one. I don't mind if my dresses are the same shape -it's no different than most of society in their jeans and t shirts :)

Maybe you could make a dress or skirt for Ella with some of the blue patterned material? Or doll clothes? Even with the great price you paid for the material, it would be a shame to let it go to waste. ;)
