Picnic Time

We had our first picnic of the year this week.  Daddy was disking (I think) the land we rent down the highway.  It backs onto Muskrat Lake.  The owner rents out the house for vacationers and so has the shore line cleaned up and a bit of sand brought in.

It was a little cool, well the breeze was cool.  The water was so cold.  It's actually a rather deep lake, so it stays cold for quite a while.







I wish Daddy had more time to spend with Ella like this.  When we're home he's trying to see the news or whatever and it seems Ella is too loud.   But they get along so well when we are outside.  This is why I wish our addition plans hadn't fallen apart.  That bit more of space would really help.
