That's very cool. I hope she is very healthy and still 'with it' mentally. I always feel sorry for the 100 year old people you see on the news who obviously have no idea what's going on any more. My great aunt (Ella) was 97, she would have made 100 easily if she hadn't fallen and broken her hip. She was such a great lady and sharp as a tack.

Is your church having a big celebration for her?

I don't know, there was a party for her last year off site of the church- We probably will have cake for her or something- She is a dear woman, who had no children but was an OB nurse at a downtown hospital for years. She is originally from Sweden and still has a thick accent, her hearing isn't so great, I think her vision has declined some in the last year or so too, other than that she does fine, she was living on her own last time I asked someone, she probably still is. It's so cute how the "younger" old people (in their 80's) take care of her and each other. She's a tiny thing too, probably no more than 4'9".

2010 blessings to you and your family this year. :)

It's going to be a great year regardless if trials and tribulations come our way because we can hold on to the precious promise that Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us.
HalleluYAH! :)
