His tend to be a little "lean". I always try to get some when I'm near a real butcher shop (with display case). Shopping is what I find frustrating up here. When I worked in Toronto I would just stop by the St. Lawrence Market and pick up a selection of gorgeous meat, including 2 inch thick short ribs (really cheap too).<br /><br />I have two crock pots. One is a round 3qt, the other is oval 6qt with the electronic timer -very handy. Then afte...Sometimes short ribs are short on meat! Then after they cook a while, your left with mostly bone. Definately go with more - how big is your crock pot? is it cylindrical? I was at Barnes & Noble last week, they had a whole display of "slow cooker" cookbooks. I really need to learn to use mine, it must be 6 or 8 quarts.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
